Dr. Temple Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University and a leading researcher on autism and animal behavior.
She helped reshape humane livestock-handling standards and has spent decades explaining how sensory-based and visual thinking work and what they mean for education, employment, and animal welfare.

Directed by John Barnhardt and presented by Colorado State University, An Open Door is the first documentary to explore Dr. Grandin's full body of work.
