Spokane Indians Game with The Arc of Spokane
Take your family out to the ball game during a special event with The Arc! Free tickets to a Spokane Indians baseball game are available to the first 25 people who register. Join us at Avista Stadium on May 3 for a baseball matchup between the Spokane Indians and the Eugene Emeralds.
This game is also Storybook Princess & Fireworks Night! Avista Stadium transfoms into a magical land full of princesses from your favorite fairy tales. Wear your prince or princess costume and take pictures with all your favorite storybook characters! Stick around for another great fireworks show immediately following the game.
Tami Leitz will be at the gate 15 minutes before the game begins to hand out tickets to registrants.

Life After High School Deer Park
The Arc of Spokane’s Advocacy & Family Support is excited to announce a one-evening version of Life After High School!
The Life After High School program is designed to help parents navigate the sometimes-complex support system for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and create a richer life for their child.
Topics Include:
Intro to person-centered planning
The importance of self-advocacy
Legislative issues relevant to people with IDD and their families
Supported decision making
Alternatives to guardianship
Understanding DDA
Understanding DDA and SSI
Parent/caregiver supports
Transition programs/Adulting 101
Supported employment
Healthy relationships
Separate activities for young adults and siblings will be provided - feel free to bring them along!
Registration for the event is required, as there is limited space. Dinner will be provided for all!

Parent's Night Out
Parenting is hard, and sometimes you need a few hours to yourself! The Arc of Spokane wants to give you that opportunity on Friday, April 19 by hosting another Parents Night Out! Drop your school age children or teens at The Arc's Community Center for activities facilitated by trained staff of The Arc of Spokane.
The cost is $10 per child. Please register each child separately and make sure to include any support needs your child has (i.e. sensory concerns, allergies, wandering, etc.) in your registration form so we are prepared to help everyone have a fun and safe evening! Siblings are also welcome.

April Fools Dance
Join The Arc of Spokane for a hoot and a holler this April! Are you a mad hatter or an Easter bonnet fan? Wear your most fun outrageous or favorite hat. Awards will be handed out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Dressing up is optional, but encouraged!
Advanced registration is preferred and attendees must be affiliated with The Arc of Spokane.
Tickets are $10 each.

Special Screening of "Crip Camp"
Join us for a special screening of "Crip Camp" as part of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. This powerful documentary follows the journey of a group of teenagers with disabilities who attended a revolutionary summer camp in the 1970s. Through their experiences, the film highlights the struggle for disability rights and the importance of inclusion and equality. Don't miss this inspiring story that celebrates resilience and advocacy. Donations welcome and a discussion to follow.
