CHILDREN’S HOME SOCIETY OF WASHINGTON

The Children’s Home Society of Washington helps to prepare children for kindergarten. Their programs support children and the entire family through group activities for parents and children, access to other community resources, and early screening and intervention for speech or motor delays. They focus on families who truly need their services – they accept DSHS subsidies and enroll children with special needs or in foster care, and families who are homeless. CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Child Care Assistance program (CCAP) provides parents in outpatient substance use treatment programs in Spokane County with access to quality licensed childcare. While parents are in outpatient treatment groups, individual sessions, support group meetings, drug court, or other appointments, CCAP provides access to children’s programs like infant or toddler care and preschool; before- and after-school programs; and summer camps.

Every Child Has Opportunities (ECHO) is an elementary-aged before- and after-school program located at Windsor Elementary, Snowdon Elementary, and the Wren Pierson Community Center in Cheney, WA.
