1. Community Living Instructors

This direct support professional role provides support and guidance in areas of independent living and learning, community skills, social personal health and safety. We offer paid on-the-job training and will assist you in obtaining your Registered Nursing Assistant license and other basic certifications for this field. Schedule flexibility is key.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
• Minimum age 18
• HS Diploma or GED
• Must successfully pass FBI fingerprint background check
• Legible handwriting and good communication skills
• Reliable transportation (driver's license and proof of insurance)
• Must be available to work the paid training and obtain certifications.

Currently hiring for both female and male clientele, Full-time and part-time positions available.

Compensation:
$13.65/hour+ DOE and benefits including medical, dental, paid leave, life insurance and retirement once eligibility criteria is met for positions 30+ hours per week.

2. The Arc Thrift Store Truck Driver

Local DRIVER to pick up Donations for The Arc of Spokane!
Work as part of our production team and drive our truck in the Spokane area to pick up donations. Full time, 40 hour per week position, excellent benefits, $14.25 per hour DOE, Tuesday through Saturday. Driving knowledge of Spokane and surrounding areas helpful.

Requirements: Must be at least 21, have a valid WA driver's license minimum 5 years, (CDL not required), clean driving record for the past three years which will ensure acceptance of agency insurance, good verbal skills, impeccable customer service, ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in various weather conditions. You must also be able to pass the required background check.

3. Spokane Valley Private Home LPN or RN

Be part of our group of dedicated caregivers instead! We offer a fun and low-key work environment in a beautiful and well-organized home serving four young adults in Spokane Valley.

Our nurses provide treatments, ongoing assessment, administer medications and tube feedings, coordinate care with physicians and pharmacy, and work cooperatively with the nursing assistant team.

Full Time, Part Time, your choice! $21.75 - $28.46 per hour. Not physically demanding, 1:4 client ratio, Check us out; you'll be glad you did!

4. Supported Living Manager

 About Supported Living: The Arc of Spokane's community living program supports adult men and women living in homes they own, lease or rent with housemates.  With the freedom to work, socialize and recreate as they wish Supported Living participants can enjoy the best life has to offer--a comfortable home, full access to their community, and caring direct support staff who are fully qualified and competent to meet their needs.

 Position Summary: The Supported Living Manager is a committed, thorough and creative person facilitating and managing 24/7 day-to-day staffing, support services and social justice for individuals living in Spokane. This position focuses on all facets of human services coordination; it is not property management-type work.

 **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

  • Minimum age 21

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Two-year degree in a related field with two years’ supervisory experience OR two years’ experience serving persons with intellectual & developmental disabilities, with two years’ experience in a supervisory position.

  • Must successfully pass a criminal history background check & FBI fingerprint check initially & at least every three years thereafter.

  • Legible handwriting, strong computer skills & good communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, prioritize, multi-tasks, keep thorough & accurate records, be self-directed & motivated, & see projects through to timely completion.

  • Demonstrated management, leadership, conflict resolution, supervisory & teamwork skills.

  • Experience in coordinating medical supports and nursing care helpful but not required.

  • Reliable transportation (driver’s license & proof of insurance) required.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, holidays & weekends as needs demand.

 Compensation     $37,500-$43,000 annual salary DOE + benefits
